My name is Chelsea and I am doing the Ride to Conquer Cancer in order to raise money for the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre.
In 2006 my boyfriend (Lachlan) was diagnosed with a rare cancer. For approximately 18 months he underwent chemotherapy at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. In mid 2007 he went into remission thanks to the work of all the people at Peter Mac. Now 5 years later, he has been diagnosed with the same cancer again, and is currently undergoing chemotherapy.
I am hoping to raise money for the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre so that they can continue their great work into cancer research - particularly into those cancers that are less well known.
Please help me to reach my goal of raising $2,500 for the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. Any donation no matter how small is very much appreciated!
